How to Care For your Sarongs Including Washing, Drying, And Cleaning Procedures- You'll most likely need to wash your sarong at some point. Weather it has just gotten dirty with dry dust accumulated from a days wear at the beach or from that ice cream ball that plopped off the cone that fell into your lap, rest assured the damage IS reversible. You CAN wash your sarong. All of our designs are machine printed and washable. The colors won't fade on our sheer designs. Keep in mind however if you are buying a batik sarong the manufacturing process uses a lot of dye and it is normal that it may lose a little in the wash. On both the sheer sarong dress designs and solid batik sarong there will be NO shrinking! ![]() Sheer Sarongs - This great sheer polyester fabric is naturally stain resistant As explained above If need arises, simply toss into the wash with like colors and machine wash on cold. Take your sarong and hang to dry naturally. Once dry if you feel the need to iron your garment you may do so. Please keep your iron on a VERY low heat setting and pass over the sarong. WE suggest using a thin towel on top of the sarong and ironing the towel so the sarong won't have contact with direct heat. Batik Solid Sarongs- Weather you have a solid color or pattern design you will need to be careful washing these types. Wash machine cold and for the first few washes it's suggested you keep them separate from your other garment. The reason being is a lot of dye is used in the manufacturing process and logically some of that will bleed. You may iron with the iron directly on the fabric however we suggest keeping your iron setting on low heat. Quick Tips To Remember
